About Us

Dear visitor,

Welcome to our website. This site is being maintained by two teachers and a student from Härmänmaa vocational school from Lapua, Finland. Our school is attending in a Comenius project related to environmental issues, with four other European countries (France, Scotland, Italy and Greece). Besides our vocational school, there are two other schools from Finland involved in this project. Finnish schools are dealing with different subjects.

Together, we try to think of "better choices for a better tomorrow" and gather information concerning the areas we are responsible for. Our school deals with "tourism" as a topic, and we are currently working on the material to be published on our webnode page. The participants are writing articles related to the linkage between tourism and nature, taking photos, and collecting information from different sources and at the same time trying to have some fun too. We have regular meetings both with the staff and the students. We, teachers, take care that the project moves forward, and we also communicate on a regular basis with our foreign partners.
